Live Census via Epic's Interconnect in QlikView
We need to get live census data out of Epic's Chronicles (Cache) and into QlikView.
Has anyone tried to do this recently?
Here's a post from 2016 that describes doing it using Epic's Interconnect server using Epic's SOAP Web Service called GetCurrentCensus.
I'm looking for updated info about how to do this or confirmation of the applicability of that post from 3 years ago.
Any help will be very much appreciated!

I'm back! Hi Margaret - would you be willing to chat with Donnie Clark at Nationwide Children's about how they did that? There are some other ways using an ODBC to Cache on Shadow, but Census is a pretty reliable API. @dclark0699

Nemours Childrens has built a real time ED census mobile app. We use our HL7 interface engine(ensemble) to create a repository of registrations/rooms/discharges and so on in real time, and refresh our app from the repository(15 second refresh). This also allows us to gather all our locations data from a single source.
