Known current issues in Qlik Cloud

  • Setting a default bookmark to create an app landing page not working as expected (https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Bookmarks/set-default-bo...)

    We are currently seeing that it takes some time to be able to see the default landing page bookmark working after it has been created. 

    This was reported to R&D, and identified as a current limitation with ID QB-2819. 

    On the other hand, there is also an improvement ongoing on this feature with ID: QLIK-103181

    Current status:
    New

 

  • "Something went wrong" while trying to export to jpg, PDF or xls. "code":403,"message"

    Error received is "Something went wrong" while trying to export to jpg, PDF or xls.
    When analyzing the HAR file, the following error will show up "code":403,"message":"does
    not have READ permission on the requested app": "does not have READ permission on the
    requested app"

    This has been reported to R&D and it is under investigation: QB-7567

    Current status: Current Limitation. This only happens when an app is private (in personal space) with a shared sheet.

 

  • QlikView Object Migration Tool: Shared bookmarks are uploaded as "unshared"

    When uploading a shared bookmark using the migration tool, it gets uploaded as not shared. Since the QlikView repository in Qlik Cloud is currently read-only, the bookmarks cannot be edited.
    Workaround: users will need to manually apply the bookmark, and then save the selections as a new, shared, bookmark.
    This has been reported to R&D and assessed as a limitation: QB-8077
    However, it is now possible to share/unshare bookmarks afterwards.

    Current Status: Current Limitation with a workaround

 

  • "Show Condition" ignored for Sheet Properties on Qlik Sense Mobile

    Sheets are always shown in Qlik Sense Mobile, despite a condition setting them to hidden.
    This has been reported to R&D and it is under investigation: QB-8879

    The fact that "Show Condition" doesn't work with Qlik Sense Mobile is a current known limitation, which has been overlooked for public documentation.
    We have an action to mention it in the Help site (HLP-11693) and an improvement action to have it supported within the product (SESI-15).
    We have created an Idea so that you can endorse the improvement if needed. Feel free to "like" it or comment it to add weight to it:

    Current Status for the documentation improvement: New

 

  • Downloading as data or pdf does not match with the app data with "Selected excluded"

    Downloading data from Qlik SaaS, to pdf or excel, does not match what is in the front-end app with selected excluded. This has been reported to R&D and a fix is in progress: QB-8765.

             Current Status: Fixed

 

  • Cannot unbold text in notes

    Cannot unbold text from notes once you make it bold. This has been reported to R&D and a fix is in progress: QB-9300.

             Current Status: Fixed

 

  • Wrong background color behavior on pivot table

    Background cells in pivot table not keeping color when scrolling horizontally. This has been reported to R&D and a fix is in progress: QB-9591

             Current Status: In assessment

 

  • Background color on pivot table is not working consistently

    Background cells in pivot table are not working consistently on all pivot cells, a fix is in progress: QB-9704.

    Current Status: In progress

 

  • Data missing when expanding pivot table to full screen

    Data missing when expanding the pivot table to full screen: QB-10400.

    Current Status: Fixed

 

  • Drill-down dimension appears as "Invalid dimension"

    Drill-down dimension appears as "Invalid dimension" in Qlik Cloud but works in Qlik Sense on Windows. This happens when drill-down dimension consists fields whose names/titles are same as those fields which are present in the master items dimensions list.
    As a workaround, either delete those fields from the master items dimensions list or rename them.

    This was reported to R&D with ID QB-10710. 

    Current Status: Fixed

 

  • "There is an error loading your data. Refresh and try again." while generating impact analysis/ lineage for Entitlement analyzer app

    "There is an error loading your data. Refresh and try again." or "There is an error loading your page." error message appears while generating impact analysis/ lineage for Entitlement analyzer app. 

    This was reported to R&D with ID QB-11020. 

    Current Status: New

I'm having issues getting a QVF larger than 500 MB published to the cloud.  A lot of my QVF's are larger than 1 gig that I need to get published.

@Daniele_Purrone you can mark "Can't use Amazon Web Services' (AWS) smtp server in Qlik Sense on the Cloud, nor other SMTP servers that won't allow using an email address as the username" as resolved now as we can now specify a separate username.

When selecting more than 10 items in a filter, the data generated on the screen does not match the generated excel data.

When you subscribe to receive an email version of a dashboard, for instance daily, it sends a daily email but with the report of the date is was initially created, not a daily refresh.
