Requirements for configuring Qlik Sense with SSL

In general, there are 3 steps needs to be done by 3 different roles when setting up SSL: 

  1. Obtain a trusted certificate. 
    • This step needs to be done by the organization's System Administrator. Also it is System Administrator's responsibility to make sure the certificate is trusted. 
  2. Import the certificate into Windows server where Proxy services are run. 
  3. Change certificate used by Proxy in QMC 

Should you encounter any issue during this process, please make sure to contact the correct role for assistance. For instance, if you have trouble obtaining a trusted certificate, please contact the organization's System Administrator. If you have trouble importing a certificate to Windows Server, please contact Windows Administrator.
