Failure to connect to Licenses Container RedHat/Ubuntu

Have you tried installing/upgrading Qlik Catalog and you ran into 

 

Double check the IP Address within your 

pod_qlikContainers.yml 

You maybe using an external IP address instead of the Internal IP address.

For Redhat/Ubuntu Deployments:

1. Sign in as the qdc user ($)

2. Navigate to QDC_Home/qlikcore

3. Run as the qdc user: 

$ podman ps

#You should see license container running. If not

4. Run as the qdc user:

$ ./shutdown_qlikContainers.sh

$ vi pod_qlikContainers.yml

5. Navigate to 

host=<IP Address>

6. Configure IP Address to the correct internal IP address

7. Save the pod_qlikContainers.yml and exit

8. Run as the qdc user:

$./launch_qlikContainers.sh

The error message above should disappear upon login.
