The Migration column in the Qlik Sense on Windows App overview inside the Management Console is obsolete beginning with the August 2021 release.

Environment

Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows August 2021 and later

The column can still be selected in the column selector in May 2021 and earlier.

Hi @Hirokazu_M,

Maybe it would be a good idea to update the Qlik Sense help because the migration column is still being mentioned in the documentation if I understood it correctly.

From the Qlik Sense Help February 2023.

Considerations about your apps

When you upgrade Qlik Sense, all existing apps need to be migrated to ensure compatibility between the versions. An app with an engine version later than 12.0 is migrated on the fly when you open it in the hub. On the apps overview page in the QMC, you can see which apps, if any, require manual migration. Apps that require a manual migration are listed in the Version column and labeled Migration needed. Use the Migrate button to perform manual migration.

Information noteThe Version column is not displayed by default. Use the column selector to display the field.

@Hirokazu_M  can we assume all apps are compatible now that this column is gone?

Hello @mgranillo

Changes were made on how Qlik Sense migrates apps, eliminating the need for the manual step of migrating them. If you find issues with an app it is less likely going to have to do with the migration, but be a problem with the app itself.

All the best,
Sonja
