This article lists the requirements and restrictions for Qlik Account. Qlik Account are used to authenticate access to Qlik.com, Portals, Download suite, Qlik Community and many other resources.
We do not cover service accounts for on-premise installations of products in this article.
To register for a Qlik account visit Create a Qlik Account . Qlik accounts are not created manually by Qlik employees.
Qlik Account Requirements and Restrictions:
Username Requirements:
- MUST be at least 8 characters
- Accepted characters include:
- a-z
- 0-9
- . - _ (Period, Dash, Underscore)
Username Restrictions:
- NO special characters (e.g. @,#,!)
- NO spaces
- NO Upper-case letters
Password Requirements:
- The password must contain a minimum of 8 characters.
- The password cannot be a previously used.
- The password must contain the following character types:
- Uppercase characters (A-Z)
- Lowercase characters (a-z)
- Numeric characters (0-9)
- No spaces allowed
Passwords do not expire.
