Qlik SAP BW Connector: after upgrading to 8.0.2, decimal values are separated by comma instead of point.

With Qlik SAP Connector version 8.0.2, when extracting data using  SAP BW Connector, decimal values are separated by comma instead of point. This issue occurs also in version 8.0.1.
The behavior may depend on regional settings

Resolution

Bug QB-18820 reported to R&D was closed as fixed. A solution will be available in next release.

Workaround:

Step 1: Download and apply the attached patch

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\ 
2. Copy "QvSAPBWConnector" folder and save it on another location (ex: desktop). 
3. Delete "QvSAPBWConnector" folder 
4. Download file "qvsapbwconnector-1.5.3-6+0e8c250-manual-rel.zip" and extract this file  (you will get "qvsapbwconnector" folder) 
5. Rename this folder "qvsapbwconnector" to "QvSAPBWConnector" and paste it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\ 
6. Test and if required, restart Qlik services

Step 2:

1. Create a new SAP BW connection
2. Check Connection String Properies and then BEx Legacy Mode (datatypes)
