Qlik Cloud Automation to trigger reload when a dataset is updated

Hi All

I want to create a QlikSense Cloud Automation that triggers when a dataset is updated. My organisation uses Data transfer for some specific datasets, and I want to reload an application when the dataset it relies on is updated.

I have attempted to use the App Data Updated webhook as a trigger, but it looks like this is not functioning in the way I was hoping.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Hi @beckm

From what I understand, 'app data updated' event results from app reload trigger. So this is not the desired block to trigger a reload when dataset is updated. This is a feature that is not available in Automation and should be a feature request: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Ideation/ct-p/qlik-product-insight

Please note if you are loading the dataset from Qlik Cloud Data Integration, then this option is available in the reload schedule UI: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Apps/reloading-apps-clou...

I hope this helps!
