Another instance of this process is already running

Occasionally and without known cause or reason, when the batch script that executes our Compose workflow runs, it will say that another instance of the process is already running, but there is no evidence of this in the logs of any task running, successfully or otherwise, nor is there any indication that the task ran in the GUI monitor. When this happens, the task returns a code of 0 and exits successfully, but nothing will have run. This is having unintended consequences because our enterprise scheduler will see that the job has completed successfully and will continue to the next scheduled job despite no work being done. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

I haven't faced this behavior before, and from your description of the issue, it seems like we need to investigate this further by analyzing the logs, diagnostic package, and additional information which we might need. 

Therefore, I would like to ask you please, to raise a case to the QDI Support team, and we will gladly assist in analyzing this scenario.
