Qlik Enterprise Manager Outside Client Env.

Hello guys!

I've been wondering, is it possible to utilise Qlik Enterprise Manager and connect to Compose and Replicate from outside a Clients Environment, like having it installed in an Azure or Windows VM?

Hi Guilherme,

Thanks for reaching out, you shouldn't have any issues with products installed in the cloud and connection between them. You can install them wherever you wish as long as there is a network connection allowing Replicate or Compose servers to communicate with Enterprise Manager.

Just to make sure, even if only the Enterprise Manager is on a VM, outside the client environment, its possible to connect to Replicate?

Hi Matte, 

correct you are right.  You would probbaly need to setup your FW and open the related ports. However this should work OK.
