Exporting Nprinting Excel template to csv

Hello All,

Is there any way to export Nprinting report created using excel template into .csv format in a folder location ?

Also, I tried exporting Qlik Entity reports but the formatting after exporting into csv is different from the formatting I applied to that same table object in Qlik Sense.

For eg. in below QlikSense table, OPEN values show 2 decimals

But, exported csv shows 0 decimal places.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Regards,

Aditya

You are doing something wrong...

Do you have measures written in table object like this? - see screenshot:

Yo u may need to share more info on what you do and how you do it including all steps to recreate your issue. It works for me, so I am not sure why it is not working for you.

Also when previewing CSV makes sure you use text editor (notepad or similar) as excel may be converting numbers when opening.

Hi,

Supported formats are documented https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/DistributionSchedulesAutomation/Repo... and obviously there is no CSV from excel template

but...

what format do you require why do you say entity report is not suitable? Maybe you need to force text() format on columns in Qlik Sense object to force particular format you wish?

In qliksense object there are 2 decimal places after point.

Yes I guess excel is messing up with the decimal places. In notepad, it is showing correct format as applied in qliksense object.

Any reason why this happens ? And what could be the possible solution ? As all our users view the export using excel.

Aditya
