NPrinting 17: exclude filter values

Hi,

In NPrinting 16 we can exclude certain values in a filter but I can't find this option in version 17.

This a gap feature that is on the roadmap as part of a future release of NPrinting.

How have you (or anyone else reading this) solved the problem to be able to exclude these values anyway - as a work around I mean?

Hey Michelle,

As far as I know this feature isn't available in the september release too.

So for now I just do

- the selection in QlikView/Qlik Sense

- select the excluded values

- concatenate the values comma-seperated.

- save them in the import-excel / filters

- import the excel through import tasks

Not very convenient as this doesn't work dynamically but at this time it's the best workaround I've found.

You will find mention of this in this commitment statement:

Qlik NPrinting 16 - Important Support update

"....Over the next year, Qlik will focus on adding remaining gap features from NPrinting 16 to NPrinting 18+ such as On-Demand for Qlik Sense®, advanced search filters, task notifications, variable filters, select excluded filters as well as variables in the email subject line and body. Additionally, Qlik is working to provide a migration tool to help customers migrate their reports, connections, filters and tasks from NPrinting 16."
