Qlik Nprinting : Office on server

Hello,
We are currently installing Nprinting at a client's site, and we will be using the office reports.
It is indicated in the prerequisites that we must have office installed on the server or the workstation on which the designer is installed, but nothing is said about the NPrinting servers and the engine.
Do we have to install office on the server containing Nprinting Server and/or NPrinting Engine?

Hi,

Microsoft Office is used only to edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint report templates so it must be installed locally only on the computers where you plan to use the Qlik NPrinting Designer. It is not needed to install Office also on the Scheduler or Engine computers because the report generation uses internal libraries to create Office reports.

You only need to have Office installed on the machines from which developers will edit nprinting office based templates. So if they are going to do it from their laptops (which is the best practice) they need to have designer installed on their laptops and installed and licensed ms office.
