Error Failed to generate QVW files.. Exception=System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file because..it is being used by another process.
Job run 2 times and fails 8 times intermittently.
We have checked Qlikview servers (QDS,QVS) for any thread being used, but nothing there.
We also asked Fileshare team to check thread if its locked, but its not.
After Temporarily changing "Application Data Folder:" in QMC--System--setup--QDS--General to C: drive(local path),it works
But since its local, will get full in no time.We need to be on FIleshare Application Data Folder:

Beside any security tools there might be further processes active like shadow copies, indexing and so on. Further a lock is just a flag to the file-metadata and if anything was broken within the process-queue it might be orphaned and be never refreshed until the storage is re-started.

Have you checked if there is an antivirus running in your company scanning this folder?
