Error in Qlikview Accesspoint Apps

Dear Colleagues,

We would want to bring into your notice that when try to access and open the apps in QlikView Access point we get error:

"Network Error, please try again". Please find the below points and let me know any further information is required:

1.If a User opens a QlikView application they receive very often attached error message.

2.It could be solved by refresh page by clicking in address bar and press enter.

3.This happens by all our QV applications when using Chrome browser.

It might be a timing-issue between the browser and the webserver (caused from any proxies or load-balancers) and/or in regard to the timeout-settings within the qmc.

Hi @ashok1203,

As @marcus_sommer  stated, this error is likely due to network issues.

Apps: Does the issue occur each time an app is opened? Does the issue occur with every app or specific apps? How many apps are effected?

Users: Does the issue occur for every user? Or specific users? If specific, are these users experiencing this on the domain or using VPN?

You can use network trace tool such as Wire Shark to record the traffic to review for issues.

Hello @Praful_PT

Your Application might be behind firewall. You user may have to login to VPN and then Access the Access point site.

Thanks,

Hello Padma,

The user is already logged in, and faces the issue when he tries to reopen the app after sometime.Due to the error a new session has to be opened.

We have all the required Firewall enabled but only when the app is getting opened it gives the network error for the instance and when we do refresh it works fine, the behaviour is not observed in IE, In IE the apps get opened without any error.

Regards,

Praful
