Hi,
Try this.
Open QlikView Application -> Help -> About QlikView -> Left side bottom you will see QlikView logo, right click on the logo, a new window will open.
Here find the variable called "ApplicationRescue" click on that, set the value 1 and click on set.
Close qlikview and then try to open your corrupted qlikview application.

Hello,
I know this is an old post, but I have found another solution in QV 11 SR2. If you right click on the name of the file from within QV, there is an option to "load without data." I have been able to recover a document by doing this and then reloading the data from within QV.

Yay for this "easter egg" that reminds me of video-game cheats when playing "Super Nintendo"
In my case, the users getting the error message simply did not have File access (so it was a filesystem problem, not Qlikview). I gave them Read access via Windows Properties > Security, etc, and it worked.
Thank you very much Jonathan for share your solution of the problem. It help me a lot.
The "easter egg" didn't work but this did....
If you don't have the app on your most recently used list you can use this tool, which is really very neat:

Thanks to mike.garcia for putting this together.
