Hide expression total column in pivot table

I have a pivot table in which I do not want the total column displayed. See screenshot below. Is this possible or are there some workarounds?

Great idea. I'm assuming this technique only works when there's an expression total that is required and a pivoted expression (with no total) is required. By combing the 2 expressions into 1 all the unwanted columns are removed.
