sort pivot table according a hide dimension

Hi all,

I need to sort a pivot table according to 'Volumes' dimension without visualizing this dimension in pivot.

It looks like there's only one Volumes per MODEL. You could try changing MODEL to a calculated dimension: =dual(MODEL,Volumes) and sort MODEL numerically. If that's not possible with MODEL you could try it for Engine instead. If that doesn't work either you are totally out of luck. Pivot tables are very limited when it comes to sorting.

talk is cheap, supply exceeds demand

Thanks,

I solved this problem with a workaround. I maintain the 'Volumes' dimension and hide it with a text object in which I set the title of the chart.

Thanks anyway.
