SAP OLAP Connector - Did not recognise connector reply

Hi Guys

I usually connect to to the SAP queries using the SAP OLAP Connector.

Recently i have been getting this error: "Did not recognise connector reply".

Any idea how to solve this?

Any help would be appreciated.

which connector version do you use?

Can u provide the Connector Log file?

Hi Yaniv

The version is 5.7 IR

Please see below the directory i am using to locate the log files:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector

I cannot seem to locate the file.

It should be in the following folder:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Log

I had a look at the log file, looks like there are 2 issues:

1. seems that connection between QlikView and BW was lost at some point (line 686)

2. seems that for some reason the query is not executed properly in BW. Can you execute the query in BW? Did you make sure that your QlikView script is written properly for the Query Execution? Also, please make sure that user that QlikView uses to connect to BW has proper authorizations to execute the query
