QlikView SVG Map DRAFT

Hi,

I would like to get QlikView SVG Map Draft working. I downloaded it and installed it.

First i got a problem with the path, there i found the solution. Now it's just a white field. No Error written in this field, nothing.

I get everytime an error when i change the position of the SVG Reader. The error is from Internet Explorer Scripfault. URL : http://qlikview/QvAjaxZfc/QvsViewClient.aspx?public=only&name=Extensions/svgMap/raphael.js

It asks me if i want to run this script anymore.

With yes it does not do something and with no also.

I'm working with QV 11.20 on XP with Internetexplorer 8.

Is the internetexplorer the problem?

The problem is with the way IE 10 handles Ajax calls to a local machine. It will run the extension fine from QVS but not in local desktop mode. I'm working on a fix for this which will hopefully be ready in a few weeks.

If you download this extension again, it should be fixed for IE 10 now.

Hi Alex,

I installed and executed the latest qar from brianwmunz/svgReader-QV11 · GitHub

After the succesful installation, i downloaded the demo .qvw file to my desktop and opened it with Qlikview 11(using IE 8.0). In- web mode, It shows a blank white area in the space where SVG maps are existing.

If i turn off the web-view, the charts are shown as " unknown Charttype".

Any inputs on this issue is appreciated.

I am using the current version of svgMaps from brianwmunz/svgReader-QV11 · GitHub , However , i am getting the same script error. Is it the problem with IE 8 ??

Hello,

I want to use Turkey map. How can I make the connection between svg map and qvd data? For example I want to show sales performance of different cities. We have 10 different products and we sold 10.000 product in Istanbul. So there will be 10.000 sales record in qvd file whose city name is equal to Istanbul. In the svg map, I want to show this amount over Bosphorus. But how can I make a connection with cities(on the map) and the records in qvd file?

Are there any documentation?
