All new Qlik Sense releases beginning with February 2022 have introduced a stricter method of verifying the WebSocket Host Allow List.

This can lead to older entries being invalidated and users receiving a 400 Bad Request error when connecting to the Qlik Sense Hub.

Valid entries are:

Entries which were previously accepted, but will now be invalidated:

  • .domain.com
  • *.domain.com

If you are looking for details on how to configure the WebSocket Host Allow List, we have an article ready for you: How to configure the WebSocket origin allow list and best practices.

For more information on the stricter verification, see the Qlik Sense Release Notes for February 2022 (QB-7782), as well as Invalid entries in the Qlik Sense host allow list on the virtual proxy configuration.
