How to give access to the user

Hello, we have a scenario where we need to grant access to a specific user for an older Qlik QVW file on the access point without refreshing the data.

On Qlikview Management Console you can set up a job which will only distribute the qvw. Ensure the reload button is unticked and start this job, it will allow you to add new users without refreshing the data.

I have performed the same steps, but the user is still unable to obtain access.

Is there section access applied to the app?
Another thing I would do is to check the publish time of the app on the server side, to make sure it has an updated time.

"Yes, Section Access has been applied. When I tested by adding and removing my name, it works fine. However, it is not working for the user."

Maybe try to check if the user has been added under licenses on QMC as well? Can they access any other QVWs on Access Point than this one?

I have verified his name in the license, and he has access to other applications as well.

Just to confirm:

- the user has a license on QMC

- the user has been added to the distribute group on the QMC job (to not reload the data but to distribute when ran)

- the user has been added to section access

If all 3 of these have been verified, then it should work as far as I know.
