Dear Moderators
I have noticed some posts replying to Questions disappearing, here are a couple of threads it has happened to:
a pivot table that does not have conditions specified in the document
If you look at the second one you'll see that swuehl has noticed this as well.
Any ideas what is up ?
Best Regards, Bill
I think Bill Markham is referring to some posts we can't see anymore, e.g. his posting http://community.qlik.com/message/441922
(got the ID from the mail notifications).
I believe the original poster deleted his post, unfortunately this will also delete all replies to this post.
Personally I would prefer that deleting posts shouldn't be possible, because it breaks the history of a discussion.
I one prefers to delete some content, it is still possible to edit the post (though this may also break the history / flow of a discussion).
Hi,
I see both the question and your replies.

I expect you can see the same as me, which is the question and the replies that have not disappeared.
I cannot see the replies that have disappeared though and doubt you can.
Best Regards, Bill
Its possible if the author deletes the post from the thread.
may be you can enquire the author of the post about the same....

Is it possible for other people to delete posts I have written ?
Best Regards, Bill
No....... I dont think so.
Hi, Bill.
Nitin is correct; the author may have taken the original post down. I have only seen this happen if a moderator has taken down a post. With either action, in doing so they may also take down threads following that post as well as the thread will be 'orphaned' by the removed post.

Neil
