How the SELECT statement in QlikSense works ?

Hello,

I have a question about the select statement, i wish if someone could shed light on this topic, i wanna know how the select statement works exactly ?

i have done a select first 10 rows from a 100 Million row table and it takes a very very long time, i need to know if the select statement scans every and each row before selecting the first 10 ones ? or is it a DB end problem ? my load takes more than 90 minutes and still going.

Qlik doesn't execute SELECT statement but sends it to the target system where the data would be fetched from. So it's a BD end problem you can assume.
