QEM - LISTING THE DEFINED TASKS

Hello Community,

I have a question about customizing the task list in the QEM UI. We have a large number of tasks (around 500),

but we only want to display a select few (about 10-15) on the UI. Is there a feature in QEM that allows us to do this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hello @deepaksahirwar ,

In the Tasks View, the left side (expanded by default) represents the Tags pane. It displays all available tags. Tags serve as attributes that you can attach to tasks to arrange them in Enterprise Manager. Tags allow you to group tasks that have a common denominator, and to filter by them, too. For example, you can organize tasks by flavor, such as all tasks that are part of a particular distribution process, by organization structure, by environment, by location, by application, by customer, and so on.

Below is the sample example which I have created locally in my lab.

  • Select the required tasks you to group them.
  • Right click on tasks --> Go to assign tags --> Create a new tag.

  • Right hand panel you will see the required tag and it looks as below.

If you have still doubts you can refer the below documents for the same.

Hello @deepaksahirwar

I would suggest trying "Tags" Options. Create New Tag and assign 10-15 tasks to the newly created tags and enable only the newly created tags in a Tags Section.
