Buffer function in load QVD

May be someone ever use buffer when load QVD.

there is some option in buffer function :

option ::= incremental | expiry

expiry::= stale [after] amount[ (days | hours)]

Can someone explain more about Load QVD using buffer?

The Ref Guide has a pretty good explanation of the parameters. Can you be more specific about your question(s)? For example, are you trying to understand in what circumstances you would use BUFFER? This presentation
