Median Calculation

Hi All,

I would like to understand how the median function works in Qlikview. In my application, I have a text object with expression as median(fieldname/60). I want to know what data points are considered to show the median value in this text object.

Hi,

The median value means you have the same number of members upper and lower to the median.

According to your exemple, QlikView calculates fieldname/60 for all lines of the table (from the datamodel) and determinates the median value.
