Connect two tables

Hi everybody,

well, i'm writing here in order to find out how i  can create a

connection bw two tables.

I have a table with that columns:

Name of ProjectRegionSales in euro 2014Sales in euro 2015Sales in euro 2016volume for year 2014volume for year 2015volume for year 2016
1104570146
210101
3
4

I would a dashboard where i could select the year from a form (which contains the year: 2014, 2015, 2016...), and after i selected it, i want to see all the data of the analysis.

IE: I SELECT 2015 in a form and after that i should see : sales and volume  of 2015.

I think is too easy for u. It's for these reason i worte here then!

Hi xdedix88,

you will need to do several RESIDENT LOADs - look that up in the help_file, it isn't hard - to ultimately have three dimension fields:

- Name_of_project

- Year

- Region

and two data_fields:

- Sales

- Volume

<=> but - what about the second table? You write that there are two tables that you want to connect?

well, thanks for the answer.

Actually i have that table i mentioned above and another table coming from a different xls file contains just the year.

sth like that (only one col):

year

2014

2015

2016

2017;

no other infomrations.

how i can connect two tables with different field and no commons keys?
