Creating QlikView X86 Executable File Using X64 OS

Hi,

I have a QlikView Developer installed on my X64 (64 bit) computer.

I want to create a QlikView executable file for X86 (32 bit) systems based on my QlikView dashboard (.QVW file).

My created .EXE files are not running on 32 bit systems. Is there a way to create 32 bit .EXE file with 64 bit QlikView Developer?

Best regards,

Njdeh

Hi,

This is special License as said by Lucian Cotea

You can try by installing X86 and check if that help.

Make sure to use same License.

Wow! you have that right(because, in general this option is not available with public)? Lucky or with a special right from qlik? May be you should contact qlik support.

Hi,

First thing you cannot create .exe file with your QlikView. Only Qlik Can do this.

I think you are talking about (.qvw) file.

In this case it just simple you can take the same .qvw from X64 to open in X86.

I think its due to bit process its not opening, Because they use different algorithm to store data.

X64 is more efficient in this than X*^.

You can try to open the file without data and see if that helps.

Yes, you can generate EXE file. It's a special option that appears only if you have a certain licence. The exe file contains everything you need to run on computers without QlikView installed.

@Njdeh: Install QlikView Desktop x86 version on your computer and try again.
