I’ve started exploring Qlik’s Agentic AI capabilities in Qlik Cloud, beginning with Qlik Answers and natural-language Q&A.
The setup was fairly straightforward, and what I found interesting is that I can interact with governed Qlik data using natural-language questions instead of creating a separate visualization for every business question.
My approach is to start small, validate the responses against existing Qlik dashboards, and then gradually explore Discovery Agent, Data Products, and MCP for more advanced use cases.
My main observation so far: Agentic AI becomes much more useful when it is connected to trusted, governed business data rather than being treated as a standalone chatbot.
