Hi,

Is there a way with Narrative - Reporting tool has conditional distribution functionality? I cannot use automation to send email due to limitation.

I'm sending a table as excel file, but if there's no record on the table, I want to not send it to the group.

They fail with the error:

Currently, we are using Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting for our analysis and reporting purpose. 

Now we are facing issue on the Qlik NPrinting server (ie., Anti Virus got expired). Moreover, windows team unable to update install it again. So, suggested to move from current server to another server. 

Anyone please suggest, 

1. Is it possible to move from one server to another server ? If yes, whether we need to install from scratch like installation, report setup etc. 

2. Is it possible to export from one server and import another server ?  

3. Also, we are using AD accounts.

We have a growing number of customers who rely on Qlik NPrinting for their email reporting distribution via Office 365 (Exchange Online).

As many of you know, Microsoft has been proactively disabling Basic Authentication for SMTP AUTH, with a final deadline for full retirement currently set for April 2026.

Since NPrinting currently only supports Basic Authentication for its built-in SMTP connection, this presents a significant problem for many organizations.

The Problem

• NPrinting currently does not support OAuth 2.0 (Modern Authentication) for connecting to smtp.office365.com.

• As Microsoft retires Basic Auth, our current reporting setup for many customers will break entirely.

My Questions for the Community & Qlik

1. Is there any official roadmap information regarding the implementation of OAuth 2.0 / Modern Authentication for NPrinting's SMTP configuration?

2. What is the long-term, supported strategy for Qlik NPrinting to connect to Microsoft 365 mailboxes for report distribution?

The Talend job is intermittently failing at the tFileCopy component with the following error:

tFileCopy_1 - The source file "\\abc\System\EIX\PRD\abc\Outbound\abc_2025-12-30_013404.csv" could not be removed from the folder because it is open or you only have read-only rights.

We verified that the file is not open or locked. The file is successfully copied to the Archive location and is also removed from the source directory. Despite this, the job still fails with an error indicating that the file could not be removed.

No code changes have been made to this job in the past year. The issue started occurring after migrating the jobs from Talend 7.3.1 to Talend 8. The failure is intermittent, not occurring every day, and we are observing the same behavior across multiple production jobs.

Talend Studio version :

As part of the above assessment, as per the End to End Demo DI Configuration Guide.pdf, I am setting up the demo project. In Talend Studio section, demo project imports 3 jobs. I was able to run first two jobs successfully, but the job, which is Process_Data job which uses tDataprepRun component, gives error as "component not found'. Due to this I am unable to complete the setup to proceed with subsequent steps. Stacktrace is attached below, kindly advise to fix this error.

Thought I'd share this to other developers here, as the proof-of-concept turned out pretty well.

Background was that I got a set of unknown apps that I had to get up to speed with. 
The obvious/old-school solution would of course have been to work through the app scripts to understand what they did/how they worked.

Or... feed them into a large language model/AI and ask for a summary.

The text summary works REALLY well, the flowchart is usually good (on a few occasions it messed up the layout of the flowchart, but that's ok).

The takeaway is that yes, this can be a useful way of working.
You don't need a dedicated tool like in the video, most AI services out there (ChatGPT, Claude, Bing etc) will work.

Remember not to analyze sensitive code/apps though - when in doubt don't use AI services.

I have around 12 measure and 10 dimension in my table and above that table I have filters. these 12 measures are divided like 7 and 5 so there will be 4 filters.

Filter1 -  suppose I have give 7 measure in my table and named as measure1 to measure 7 so I will have filter that would have these measure list from 1 to 7

Filter2 - have bucket of values that I have in my table like >5 Lakhs, 5-10 Lakh and till 25 Lakhs

Filter3 - have rest of the 5 measure and have name as Measure8 to measure12 names list

Filter4 - have again bucket from >5 Lakhs , 5-25 Lakhs and so on till >2 Crores

Now based on the selections my tables measure should reflect , like user select Filter 1 -measure 5 and Filter 2  5-10 Lakh then in my table all values should come between 5-10 Lakh only and same for 3rd and 4th filter whatever measure selected table measure should reflect according to that. FYI- All measure are different not same in filter 3 there will be another measure that should also reflect accordingly
