Hi,
I am facing an issue in Qlik Sense server, I get the error message "Failed to import app. Please check log file." when trying to import an app, I have tried creating a new app from scratch and importing but still get the same error. Does anybody know what could be causing this, also where can I find the log file?

I think we are going to reinstall the server and if the issue persists will raise a ticket with Support.

we've recently faced a similar issue during a migration of apps built under 2.2.4 to the September 2017 version. In our case the solution was to grab the application files from the Apps folder of Qlik Sense (2.2.4, original server) (these files are without extension, but can be identified by their IDs) and copy them over to the new server/version. Following that they have to be imported into the new version normally (be advised that the names of the applications will be lost).
