Hi,
I am able to use QlikSense bar chart to plot by business areas, top 5% highest average sales by customer accounts.
Areas | Customer Accounts | Top 5% Average Sales |
---|---|---|
A | c00001 | 99999 |
A | c00002 | 9999 |
A | c00003 | 999 |
A | c00004 | 99 |
A | c00005 | 9 |
A | others | 1 |
B | c1111 | 90 |
B | others | 10 |
Others are those fall outside top 5%.
I need a column to count number of customers fall in top 5% by area, how to count ?
Area | No. of customers |
---|---|
A | 5 |
B | 1 |
Thank you.
What is the base data?
Do you mean the very raw data?
They are individual monthly sales amount.
e.g. 4 months sales per customer.
Customer Sept Oct Nov Dec Avg
c0001 15 10 10 15 12.5
Top 5 % based on Avg sales.
Please provide proper sample data to work...
Hi Manish,
Please use the dummy dataset attached.
Hope you got my question above.
Thanks alot!
No..
If you can explain what exactly you want.. Also based on the data, can you provide the output table also?
I want to count for each area,
How many customers are in top 5% based on their 4 months' sales average.
After thinking about it, actually am I right to say that If I get the 5% of the customer population per area, is equal to the population in top 5% per area?
If it is true, then I will just use 0.05 * count([Customer Accounts]), then rounding it to a whole number.
Thanks!
