Audit Log file

How Create  Qvs Audit Log file in Qlikview server 9 .Please Help me very urgent .Any one Know about this tell.

Hi Perumal,

you can find the log file under the path

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\Qvs.

3 log file

Events, Performance, session.

Hi.

Audit logs were introduced in QVS v10.

They don't exist in QVS v9 and below.

Hi,

    For that you need to check one check box on Qlikview server.

    Here is the place.

    QEMC -> System -> Setup -> Qlikview Server -> Logging. -> Enable audit logging of client activity.

    Once you do this setting, you need to click on Apply button on right bottom.

    After this audit log will be created.

Thank Yoy for Ur Replay .I am using Qlikview server 9 .

Only there Session Logging ,Event logging ,Performance logging .Not there Audit logging

    OK then i would suggest you to go through the Server reference manual of v.9

    You will find it at C:\Program Files\ Qlikview\Documentation.

i checked in QVS Reference Manual . No Details is not there  in QVS Reference Manual .Any other way is there or not .

    Unless the log is created by server, how can you get it.

Audit logs were introduced in QVS v10.

Perumal A uses QVS v9, which lacks the functionality to create audit logs.

Perumal A:

If you want audit logs, the only way for you is to upgrade to QVS v10. SR3 is out.

Or you could implement a custom logging function for client activity via macros.
