Is there a way to type a help message when a user 'hover's" their courser over a field in a table? Say, in this case, a column heading?
With QV11, the comment field in the expression or dimension tabs is now displayed as a hover tool tip / pop up.
Yould have a look at this checking out the What's new in QV11 Application (I believe also on demo.qlik.com).
My company has QV 10. We run 1 verson behind usually.
Our company has QV version 10. Not yet on 11. Perhaps we can create a Help Tab or us the Help function. Our users access QV via an Access Point. They view/use QV from Ajax view.
Check out also the INFO load prefix and the Allow info option in layout tab.
For QV10, you can place a transparent text object that contains Help over the heading. For an example, see "Creative use of object help and popups." in the QV Cookbook.
