If you enable Collaboration on your server, portal visitors can create their own tables, listboxes and charts in QlikView accesspoint. Moreover, they can decide to share individual objects with all or named portal users (sheets can be created but not shared ). Those are server objects too.

Server objects are kept in a separate file in the document directory. The original qvw document is not changed in any way. When opening a qvw document in the portal, the QlikView server will load the document UI and combine it with all your own server objects and the ones that have been shared with you.

To get a taste of this, go to QlikView accesspoint, open a document and click the Repository icon in the toolbar.
