Qlikview Developer Certification

Hello and Good Day to all of you!

I would like to ask if some can provide some 'pointers' to review for readying in the Qlikview Certification Exam.

My reviewing materials would be the Qlikview Training documentation and the Developer Bootcamp files. If some can 'tip' in some

pointers on what else I need to look upon or review, I would gladly appreciate it and also help the users who are planning to take the exam.

You may find our book "QlikView 11 for Developers" interesting (see here: http://community.qlik.com/thread/67798). I've heard of many developers who've succesfully used it to prepare for their certification exam.

Hi Donna

I past the Developer certification exam the last week. 80% of my exam was about the Design and Developer Qlikview Manual, An the other 20% is experience. I recommend have one experience year before do the exam.

The questions of designer was very elemental like when you use some charts for number of dimensions and expressions. Or what object is better for any situation, using of set analysis and bookmarks, etc

The questions of developer was like some commands (class, aggr, trace, seccion access, buffer, etc), What happend with some script is executed (automatic concat, perform of join, etc)

The rest of exam is based in experience, About MSSQL structure (primary, foreign key), functionality of server and publisher (schedule of qvw's), licences, limit of debugger, BI structures (snowflow, starschema), desnormalization, integration with ajax foot print, structure with more than one qvw (extractor and presentation)

FYI-Certification is doable with the right body of practice , QlikView

examples and experience. Some people are recommending a year study.

We have now in place a Zunainfotech QlikView Academy(Boot Camp) that will

get rave reviews.

Hi Eddy,

I preparing for QlikView Developers Certification. I have been using

QlikView 11 for Developers eBook.

Could you provide some resources such as Technical Paper or other that

will help me in these areas?

Identify and Analyze Data Sources

Create the QlikView Associative Data Model

Design and Develop the QlikView Application User Interface
