Hi Everybody,
I created a reload button on a dashboard so that end-user via Web Browser can click to reload data from client side.
It is working from my development application but not working on QV access point.

I know it is limitation for previous version of QV from the question link above. But it is still a limitation to Qlikview version 11?
Our intention is to avoid end-user access to server and reload the data in the management console.
Or any good suggestion for user to reload the data instead of accessing to server or by clicking the reload button?
Thanks,
Chanel
You can try to use EDX. See attached file.
But maybe it would be simpler to have a button that creates a flag file in some folder, and then have a windows task to check every X minutes. If flag is there, reloed, otherwise skip.

Thanks for prompt response.
I tried the solution from http://qlikviewtips.wordpress.com/2011/10/10/edx-in-qlikview-what-are-what-for-and-how-it-does/
but the script got error (Expected end of statement) when executing the 6th line:
MsgBox "The reload starts. Please press "Accept" and wait for a minute"
Another solution from http://community.qlik.com/message/293195#293195
require C# .net where my current server is not running that application.
Thank you for this answer. Really helpful
