Hi,
I'm using Chrome to view a QlikView app on IPad (v5.1.1) . However, none of the scroll bars on the tables and charts can be used. Instead, when I touch the scroll bar, the page tries to reposition itself according to where I touch the screen. Running my finger along the scroll bar simply moves the screen.
Is there an IPad feature which can be switched off ( I am not very familiar with IPad settings) or is this an issue with the portal (inhouse software is being used instead of Accesspoint) or Chrome?
My opinion is that it could be caused by the inhouse software but wanted to rule out other potential causes.
Many thanks for any suggestions.
Neil
Further investigation has identified the following:
With the IPad v1 you need to slide your finger across within the table/chart rather than use the scroll bar. For IPad v2 there appears to be a small scroll bar that control navigation within the picture frame so that picture movement doesn't occur by touching the scroll bar. However, sliding your finger within the table/chart is still the best way of navigating.
Incidentally, this negates multiple selection.
If anyone has any better suggestions, please let me know but I will close this issue as it is no longer outstanding for me.
