Heatmap shading across two dimensions

Hi

I'm trying to create a heat map using two dimensions in a pivot table (with one dimension vertical and the other dragged up so it is horizontal). When applying the colorwizard to the background colour using the same expression as in the pivot table the shading works across the columns (the vertical dimension) but not across the rows as well.

This is seen in the attached where the count(ID) is 3 for VALUE2=5 and 2 for VALUE2=2 but they have the same colour.

How do I change the background colour expression so that 3 has a 'higher' colour than 2?

I've tried a few ways of expressing this but still can't get the relative shading across the two dimensions correct.

Thanks

Thanks! Hadn't thought of using variables to aggregate across the dimensions...good idea!
