How to create Annotations/Users should be able to enter Comments?

Hi All,

I have some requirements to give Users the priviledges to add comments/notes in a Blank Space. How can it be achieved (may be Annotations)?

Could some one please show me with an example?

Annotations are a feature of QlikView Server v11 and above:

Notes are added to an object, e.g. a chart and a table. A snapshot can be added to the annotation.

Can't it be done on Desktop Mode in any ways? I want to first implement in the Dashboard on Development Mode.

No this is only a QlikView Server feature.

You could create your own extension object if you have the required dev skills. A colleague created a commenting extension with write-back so I know it is possible. Unfortunately I cannot share the extension object with you. Extension objects work in QlikView Desktop in web view.
