I play around with EDX scheduled task, and I like this feature. To start a task, i have to give taskName /Task ID and optional password to an EDX enabled task.
Simple Question: Where do i find the Task Id in EMC? I know it works also with TaskName, but I would rather take the task id.
You would need to get this from an XML file in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Publisher\CommandCenter\QVPR. There are several files here--depending on the type of task you created, the taskid can be in one of several files. Once you open a couple it should be obvious what they contain.
