Dear All,
I have almost 20 application running on access point.. which includes HR, P&L, Sales application..
What should I have to do if I want that If a HR user is login then He/She see only HR application and same as Sales and P&L users..
Regards,
Rahul
Do you use NTLM Authentification and do you have Publisher? The user sees only Applications he has access rights on, with Publisher you can distribute to these people (for example HR). Without Publisher you can set the file rights manually or use different Folders as Mounted folders.
A last option is to use Section Access and activate "Filter AccessPoint Document List Based on Section Access" in the Document. In this case the user will see the application only when he is in the Section Access.
Hi Rahul,
that will work only if every one of your apps has Section_Access implemented. Then there is a checkbox in the QMC to govern visibility in AccessPoint. Otherwise everyone will be able to see all Apps, but be able to open only those on which they have a license.
I think you don't have to bother with that too much since you can add a regular IE_bookmark on an app once you have found it, so the users won't have to go via the AccessPoint anymore - but that's up to you.
Hi,
Do You have publisher with you?

Hi Rahul
I am sure that you've assigned Named Cals to your users.
Kindly give Authorization to users for only those Application which you want they should see.

I have only QV server..Not publisher...
Then I would suggest you to Place each application in respective folder
Like Sale, HR, PL e.t.c.
Then Right Click on folder properties security.
Remove everyone and add respective users.
Restart QlikView Services once.
And check if that work and let me know.
