Language Settings AJAX ZFC

Hi all,

is it possible to change the language of the AJAX Client?

I know you can do this with the FAT-Client and the PlugIn.

No and yes.

In version 9 Sr3 there are three languages (english, french and japanese).

We don't have multilanguage servers, ie all user will get UI in selected language.

Stumbled across this thread. Just to make it complete.

In SR1 V10 you can change the language in the AJAX-client by changing

Program Data\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\settings.ini

For example to have Swedish as the language you change to

[Settings 7]
InterfaceLanguage=Swedish

Andy is right!
I changed the language of AJAX as follows:
1. Open the following file:
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Settings.ini"
2. After [Settings 7] I added the following line:
InterfaceLanguage=Portuguese
3. Restart all services Qlikview
4. Accessed again AccessPoint

Originally tested with the Swedish, that Andy suggested, and it worked! Then with Portuguese / BR and also worked! So I think that works with any language.

A tip:

Putting InterfaceLanguage = Portuguese (with spaces) does not work!
Putting InterfaceLanguage=Portuguese (without spaces) works!

So, Ahe's answer is still correct? You cannot have different language for different users on the same server?
