Hi all,

System Specification- Window 7- x64
4 GB RAM.

Please Suggest how i can do this?
thanks
Abhay
pls revert any help will be apreciated
You can not install Qlik Sense Server on regular OS i belive. You needs Windows Server OS to install the QS server.
Perhaps you can try VM ware with Windows Server and try installing in that.
Do you have enough SYSTEM RAM, Capacity & Architecture?
2.1 System requirements for Qlik Sense This section lists the requirements that must be fulfilled by the target system in order to successfully install and run Qlik Sense.
Platforms l Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 l Microsoft Windows Server 2012 l Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
For development and testing purposes only: l Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit version only) l
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit version only) Processors (CPUs) Multi-core x64 compatible processors Memory 8 GB minimum (depending on data volumes, more may be required) Qlik Sense is an in-memory analysis technology. The memory requirements for the Qlik Sense products are directly related to the amount of data being analyzed. Disk space 500 MB total required to install Security l Microsoft Active Directory l Microsoft Windows Integrated Authentication l Third-party security Local admin privileges are needed to run the Qlik Sense services. WebSockets Web browsers and infrastructure components (such as proxies and routers) must support WebSockets .NET framework 4.5.2
There is nothing special about installing Qlik Sense Server on a laptop / windows 7.
Just download the installer and run it, however I would imagine that 4gb ram might be a stretch as the repository service will eat up some of that. The repo service usually takes up 200mb ram on my laptop.
The only thing you need is a license. And it would be great to have more RAM.
Guys thanks for revert..
I successfully installed QlikSense Server and its working..
Can any one tell me how i can install it through IIS??
Regards
Abhay
Hi Abhay,
You can't. Unlike QlikView, Qlik Sense ships with what we call the proxy service. This will act as you webserver and handle all the routing and authentication for you.
Kind Regards
