Opening Mails in Qlikview

Hi All,

I have a column in database called Path which contains the path where an email is kept.

I need to create a straight table such a way that, when the Path field is clicked, then its corresponding email needs to be opened.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you can format a URL that leads to opening the e-mail in a browser, then you should be able to use the "Link" option of the expression "Representation". QlikView will send the URL to the browser, and the browser should open the mail.

In my book QlikView Your Business, I am showing an example of using the Link functionality for sending e-mails from a straight table - check it out, it's pretty cool!

Hi,

You can use the <URL> option.

To understand How it works have a look at the attached document.

Go to SparkLine Tab and see the "USD Exchange Rate" Chart.
