To my knowledge there's no Qlikview book available...I'm sure someone is busy writing one but as yet I'd recommend looking in the Qlikview Help file and this forum - I learned everything I know about Qlikview from these sources; the Help file is especially useful and will certainly help with several of the topics you raise.
The 'Loop' ('For...next') and 'Set Analysis' sections are particularily useful.
