hi community,
just a short question.
is there a way to select measure by the legend in a line chart?
thx in advance
Hi Eric,
Check this sample out: I have attached it.
Also, You will not be able to get a legend if you use the colour expression.
Thanks,
Sangram.
Hi Eric,
Yes its possible if you do not use colour by expression to colour your barchart. It works when you use colour by dimension or colour by measure.
Thanks,
Sangram.
hi sangram,
i habe a line chart over time (the dimension) and a lot of measures where the values come from.
the values all come from the same table but are select due to a different code in a field.
So i have like 12 measures all showing the sale value over time but for another product.
but i cant do color over expression for these measures because when i select one they all get the color from the one i selected in a list.
so i selected multicolor at color and legend.
can u help me?
Hi Eric,
Sure , Is it possible to attach a sample file.
You Should be able to achieve this.
Thnaks,
Sangram.
when i have
Sum({$<[Product]={'01'}>}Amount)
as measure with different numbers 01,02,03,04,....
and for each number a measure.
and for color like
if(Product='01,black(),
if(Product='02',green(),
if(Product='03',magenta()
)))
and formula has colorcode
it should work or do i miss something?!

Thx, for trying to help me.
But atm i only have a desktop edition so i cant open files from others.
And how can i change the colors when i should not use colour expression.
And also when i use multicolour i can select anything in the legend btw.
Hi Eric,
that dos'nt matter. You do not have any restriction like in Qlikview which will restrict you from opening other qvf's. So copy the app to your App's folder and check the example.
Thanks,
Sangram.
