Hello there guys :),
I have interesting problem on my site. Yesterday one of our Qlik Server had timezone issue and its date is changed to 9th of May 2025. Meanwhile some users had exceeded 5 session quota and they faced a parallel session error. We hoped the problem would be solved the next day, but it wasn't. The users who encountered the problem were recorded as May 9 2025 in the ProfessionalAccessUsage table, in the license usage column. But we are in April 🙂 so they cannot use Qlik untill 9th of May. Now the timezone issue is solved on server but users are remain recorded as 9may last usage. Are there any way to workaround or solve this issue?
Hi, so a restart of the server didn't solve the problem?
I don't know if there is a better option, but maybe setting the date of the server at 10-may, or 9-may but an hour later than before, login to remove the flag of sessions exceed, and when the user works, set again the current date.
Hello Ruebnmarin, thanks for your reply.
I will try to manage your suggestion. This might be a hard to apply because we have +300 users. If we change the date of server, some of user still have a chance to get 5 session error again. We have to block access to Qlik Sense in order the new users not get this error. Again thanks for ur solution.
Yes, I don't like it either, I only give the answer because I see the question for a few days without any answer, an well, at least it's better than nothing.
In addition, I would take a snapshot of the server before the change, just in case this causes another different issue.
