“Best Practices for Monitoring Qlik Sense Performance and Resource Usage”

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some insights and best practices around monitoring Qlik Sense performance and system for building games resource usage. Specifically, I’d like to understand how to:

• Track CPU, RAM, and disk usage over time

• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks

• Monitor user activity and app usage patterns

• Set up alerts for unusual behavior or resource spikes

I’m aware of the Monitoring Apps that come with Qlik Sense, but I’d appreciate any tips on customizing them or recommendations for third-party tools that offer more detailed visibility.

If you have experience or suggestions, I’d love to hear what’s worked well for your environment.

First, I'm using Qlik Cloud so I'm not sure that the monitor apps are 100% identical.

I use the "Entitlement Analyzer" app and customize it to our need to track usage by app and by user and also monitor the "health score" of the system in terms of are the apps are reloaded with today's data. we also track the engagement of the apps to find apps that no longer relevant and we can remove them and reduce the # of apps we managing.
